Charitable Contributions

Overview

Initially, we are launching with two charities related to great ape and habitat preservation. All donations will be done on chain with transactions posted on our main charity page and on social media platforms.

All funds set for donation are automatically deposited to a dedicated wallet 0x8cB5081CC892e23222d0640cAD81E6199Dae3601 to provide full transparency to everyone in our community. All assets will be sold for ETH on QuickSwap, move to L1, and sent to our selected charities.

In the near future we will be adding more charities and implementing ways for the community to delegate their deposit fee to the charity of their choice.

Currently-Supported Causes

Orangutan Outreach

Orangutan Outreach's mission is to protect orangutans in their native forests of Borneo and Sumatra while providing care for orphaned and displaced orangutans until they can be returned to their natural environment. If they cannot be released, we will do everything in our power to ensure they have a life of dignity and the best possible long-term care. We seek to raise funds and promote public awareness of orangutan conservation issues by collaborating with partner organizations around the world.

Virunga National Park

Virunga National Park, Africa’s most biodiverse protected area, exists to protect 1/3 of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas, over one thousand species of mammal, bird, reptile, and amphibian, and provide a brighter future to more than four million people affected by conflict.

2020 was a challenging year. The Park lost its income from tourism. The economic impact of COVID-19 led to a surge in poaching. 15 rangers were killed in the line of duty due to persisting cycles of violence in the region. These unprecedented events have impacted our ability to protect and preserve the Park.

Your crypto donation will help us prepare for 2021/2 and the growing impact of COVID-19.
